A couple of observations: if you don't label each card with a source letter, you won't know where your evidence came from. You'll need to know the original source for each quote when you create your parenthetical citations.
Secondly, there are only a few reasons for paraphrasing or summarizing on note cards. Paraphrase when the original language is too difficult to understand or too dull to write as is. Also, summarize when the original passage is too long. Use ellipses ... when you want to skip unnecessary words in the original wording.
