Poetry Research Project: Full slide samples

W 10.2 Write informative and explanatory texts to examine and convey complex ideas, concepts, and information clearly and accurately through the accurate selection, organization, and analysis of content.
W 10.4 Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
W 10.5 Develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, or rewriting.
W 10.7 Conduct research projects to synthesize mutliple sources on a topic.
W 10.8 Gather relevant information from mutliple authoritative sources, using advanced searches, assessing the usefulness of each source, integrate the information into the text maintaining the flow of ideas, avoiding plagiarism and following a standard citation format, such as MLA.
W 10.9 Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis and research.
Design hints: Use 24 pt font or higher. Use a consistent background, color scheme, and font for the entire slide presentation. No more than forty to fifty words on a page.
Content hints: For the biographical and historical context pages, teach your audience the basic facts about the poet's life and the historical context. If you find something especially interesting, feel free to include that also. One to two slides with forty or so words on a slide is sufficient for each of these two separate sections.
